I'm not to sure what to take from yesterdays game in the respect that we should have won it after they went down to 10 men on the stroke of half time.

We were by far the better team in the first half and controlled and dominated most of the first 45 mins,though as we have all seen time and time again when a team go down to 10 men they seem to gain a bit more togetherness.

After the second half kicked off it proved to one and all our need to sign a new keeper,don't get me wrong it was a great strike from Ngog but Almunia should never had lost that at his near post.

I should know!!! When we were down for the Emirates Cup recently we took part in a footy tourney organised by our friends at the H&B branch and i let in a goal near post and do you think Mike(Buchanan) would let up about it????

First game of the season - Anfield away,i'll settle for a draw. Ok it was arguably sheer luck or what ever  way you look at it,but at the end of the day it's a point away from home and with a few injuries i won't grumble.

You can see how much we miss Cesc though  dominating the midfield. I was happy with Chamakh and Koscienly both making there prem debuts.

I think we will have a lot more to see from them both and i really hope we see a lot more of Wilshere this year as well. I think his spell at Bolton has done him the world of good,he showed his hunger yesterday for first team footy and Le Boss will hopefully keep faith with him.

Delighted also to see Le Boss sign a new contract though having watched his press conference and showing his love for the club as well as his hunger to win something i was how do i say it??? A bit dissapointed to hear him say if people weren't happy(e.g the board) he would walk away.

First and foremost if the board were in any doubt they would not hand him a contract to 2014,secondly Le Boss has always stated he would never break a contract,so to hear him say that i was a bit......

Also when pressed on if he would ever manage another club he gave the Wenger smile(never say never look)

Come on Arsene,how many other clubs could you go to and have the control and support from fans,the board and team having went 5 years without a trophy???

By no means of the way am i taking a dig at the man,i Love Le Boss always have always will. Maybe it's me reading between the lines but a couple of the things he said just made me sit up and think a bit.

Anyway Blackpool next week,and i don't expect an easy ride......i'll wait till the away leg on the Pepsi Max!!!!

Joking apart Blackpool have nothing to lose,so we have to be very focused and make sure we can break them down and get our first 3 points of the season at home before a trip to Blackburn!!!!!
